This drop is an ode to the woman who loves generously; her friends, family, old flames and new stars. The Lover focuses on accentuating the waist. Seen in thoughtfully designed silhouettes, with purposeful pleats and delicate draping.
The palette for this drop is fresh and juicy. Red and pink shades of raspberry and rose shine with love, like cheeks blushing at the touch of a loved one. Not too romantic: red is also the colour of power and might, even when mixed with a bit of cream. These tones are supported by fresh lime, bright silver-grey, and the grassiest green, complemented by cream and dark beige. A bouquet to sink into, like the lover you are.
POM Amsterdam speaks the language of love and they say it with flowers: for the prints in this drop, they were inspired by the most beautiful bouquets, from grand and sweeping to small and sweet. They used the dye from real plants and flowers on natural fabrics, a technique called eco printing. Additionally, they created a photo-like collage by scanning flowers with different movements. Adding a kinetic energy to each piece.
